The past 4 years have individually held the weight of about 150 shows, and included numerous festival appearances. All of this time on stage together has given the band the opportunity to explore the wide variety of influences that has impacted them to be the players they are today. Telluride Playwrights Festival

The Telluride Playwright's Festival is a six day intensive workshop for playwrights, actors, and directors to refine their craft and written work. The festival is put on by Sparky Productions, a non-profit that offers playwrights the unique experience of working in a Rocky Mountain setting. The goal is to help playwrights fulfill their vision in an intimate workshop setting beneath the San Juan Mountain peaks.  Plays are chosen from a submission system; playwrights are then offered the opportunity to travel to Telluride to work with a group of actors, directors, and fellow playwrights to refine their work. Ah Haa Art Auction

The Ah Haa's annual fundraiser has been a must-attend summer event for over 20 years. Both art lovers and community members support the Ah Haa School by bidding on a wide range of work created by artists in and out of Telluride. Typically, more than 100 artworks and myriad services and excursions donated by the region's artists, businesses and supporters of the school are auctioned in live and silent auctions. Good food and drink, performances and a fantastic party for everyone to attend.

Hardrock 100 Endurance Race

The Hardrock Hundred Mile Endurance Run is an ultramarathon of 100.5 miles, 33,992 feet of elevation climb, and 33,992 feet of descent for a total elevation change of 67,984 feet. The race is held on a loop course, including 4WD roads, dirt trails, and cross country terrain in Southern Colorado's San Juan Mountain range.  The run begins and ends in Silverton, Colorado and travels through Telluride and Ouray and crosses 13 major passes in the 12,000 to 13,000 foot (elevation) range. Completion of the event is marked by kissing the Hardrock, a picture of a ram's head painted on a large stone.  This is a graduate level endurance run. Moutaineering, wilderness survival, and wilderness navigation skills are key. The cut off time for finishing the race is 48 hours. Current course records...

PalmKidz was initiated summer 2014, and offers an opportunity for all children, and children at heart, to experience great performances on Friday afternoons in the summer.  Joining forces with the Wilkinson Public Library, the Palm is able to offer $5 tickets. Steve Weeks is a truly original voice on the Kindie music scene, Steve Weeks performs with both a boisterous sense of humor and a deep sense of purpose.  “We’re supposed to be entertaining and educating kids,” the Colorado-based singer-songwriter enthuses. “I am sincere about the music I write.  If it’s not coming from the heart or isn’t fun, I won’t write it.”

8th Annual 2015 Telluride Yoga Festival The 8th Annual Telluride Yoga Festival is being held July 9-12, 2015 and features a packed schedule starting Thursday morning and concluding Sunday afternoon. About the Telluride Yoga Festival Founded in 2007, the Telluride Yoga Festival is an intimate yoga retreat held in the spiritual mountain setting of the Telluride Valley.  With a list of world-renowned instructors, the incredible setting of Telluride, and intimate class sizes, the festival today attracts more than 700 participants each year.  The weekend begins with all-day intensive trainings on Thursday, followed by three days of classes, lecturers, meditations, music, and gatherings. The Rundola is an open registration foot race from the base of the gondola in Telluride to the top of the ridge adjacent to the San Sophia mid-station. The race is organized by and benefits the Telluride Foundation.  Runners follow the Telluride Trail (4.600 feet long, 40 feet wide, 13% uphill grade) or can simply bushwack to the finish. The elevation gain is 1,810 feet from start to finish. Participants are grouped by age and gender into categories for the race.

Rundola The day kicks off with the Telluride Foundation's Rundola, a recreational foot race to benefit the Telluride Foundation. Participants begin at the base of the gondola in the town of Telluride and finish at the top of the ridge adjacent to the San Sophia gondola mid-station. They love every mile out on the road and every new person they get to share their music with. They now have three albums under their belt and are looking for westward expansion. A blended mix of Southern Rock, Appalacian Fiddle Music and American Rock and Roll. It's music from now and years past, harkening to our country's rugged and untamed infancy.  Tickets are to be announced. Designed with an appeal to young and adult audiences alike, the play has a contemporary moral about parent-child relationships, the challenges of growing up (for both children and adults), the joys of love, and challenges of being different.
