Lamplight Cemetery Tour

  October 16th, 23rd & 30th, 2015.  6:30 PM- 8:00 PM Similar to their Lone Tree Cemetary Tours, the Telluride Historical Museum is doing a special tour that fits with the Halloween season. Telluride's past will come to life in a dramatic glow of lamp light. It is $10 for museum members and $15 for others. Telluride Choral Society: The Dream Lives

It is estimated there will be 100 singers from Durango and Telluride that will be performing music created by locals Dr. David Lingle and Dalen Stevens. In addition, there will be a 21 piece Chamber Orchestra. Dr. Lingle (deceased January 2013) was the Telluride Choral Society Director for over 7 years.

The 1st Annual Adult Prom

Friday, September 25th. 8PM.  Tickets are $30 each or $50 for couples.  The night's theme will be Dancing through the Decades, featuring a red carpet entrance, classic prom photo section, and one free cup of spiked punch. The local Telluride rockers Spacegunner  will be performing. Retro prom attire is HIGHLY encouraged and the honor of prom king and queen will be given to the best-dressed couple. The bar tab will be picked up for the prom king and queen. For an additional $25 you can purchase a pick up in a vintage car from the Cars and Colors Festival.  There will be a silent auction to raise funds for the Sheridan Opera House. Imogene Pass Run

What began as a way to train for the Pike's Peak marathon in 1974 is now a full-fledged race. The race from Ouray to Telluride over the 13,114 foot  Imogene Pass . This is a 17.1 mile point to point mountain race. The pass is a 4x4 dirt road that passes through mining ruins, up jagged peaks, and above treeline. The runners finish at the  Sheridan Opera House on Oak Street in Telluride.  Remember to dress appropriately for the weather and be prepared for any and all conditions.
