Schedule of Events June 3rd, 2017 6:15am, Telluride Town Park-- Pilot briefing (public invited) and balloon launch.  1pm, Christ Presbyterian Church, downstairs-- Free Photo Workshop led by professional hot air balloon photographer Paul D. deBergeois. Learn how to take photos, even on your cell phone! 7pm, Main Street Glo 'til 9:30pm-- Hot air balloons will inflate on Colorado Avenue for a spectacular show at dusk. SMRC Chocolate Lovers' Fling

The 21st Annual Chocolate Lovers' Fling is a fundraiser for the San Miguel Resource Center, which works to eliminate violence and sexual assault in San Miguel County.  The Fling is themed each year and includes a tasting of delectable chocolate treats by local chefs, a silent auction, music, raffle, and cash prizes for the best dressed! This is always a fabulous night of dancing and fun -- all while supporting an incredibly worthy cause. 

Telluride FIRE Festival

Inspired by Burning Man, The Telluride Fire Festival will be centered around a free public and interactive experience of fire artistry. The fire displays will occur from when darkness falls to late evening on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Gondola Closes

The Gondola connecting Telluride to Mountain Village will close at midnight after the evening of October 16th.  It will remain closed from October 17th until November 17th. Gondola operations will start for the winter season at 7am on November 18th.  For more information, please click here . 

Telluride Horror Festival

The Telluride Horror Festival is a 3-day genre film festival. Screenings of the latest horror, fantasy, and sci-fi films will take place throughout the weekend at the Sheridan Opera House and the Nugget Theatre. The festival screens an average of 18 feature films and more than 20 short films.  Additionally, they host special programs, guests, and a party.

This is a place for people and dogs to mingle, to stock up on on fresh local produce and flowers, and to get inspired by the creative output of artists. V endors from within 100 miles of Telluride gather to sell organic fruits, vegetables, pasture raised meats, eggs, cheese, artisan bread, baked goods.   You can also grab lunch at one of the mouthwatering food kiosks and shop for handmade crafts.   Come support your local vendors!    

BRAvo Auction

Decorate a bra at the Ah Haa School for the Arts BRAvo auction by Friday October 7th. Gentlemen from Telluride's Fire and Police Departments and Service Clubs will model the community's bra creations in both a live and silent auction. Event benefits the San Miguel Resource Center & Bosom Buddies, a Breast Cancer Support Group of Southwestern Colorado.  The BRAvo Auction will be held on Thursday, October 13th at the New Sheridan Bar at 7pm. Tickets are $10.
