As a keyboardist, Hollingsworth has established himself as a formidable and versatile music talent deftly able to contribute, collaborate, compose, and communicate on a number of levels and within a vast spectrum of musical environments. Today, as a member of acclaimed jam masters The String Cheese Incident, Hollingsworth is revered by both peers and fans for his ability to write and perform in a mosaic of styles, from rock to classical, ragtime to bebop. Telluride TV Video Awards

The Telluride TV Video Awards honors and promotes community media and content participation. Awards are typically presented to pieces that challenge conventional television formats, promote community dialogue, and encourage participation of local viewers.  The evening will take place at the Sheridan Opera House and will begin with a red carpet affair. You will enjoy films throughout the evening as well as a full awards show.  General Admission is $20 and includes admission to the event, the after party, and light appetizers during the event. A Table Reservation is $200.00, is located on the main floor, abd includes candy and popcorn. A Filmmaker's Table is $150.00 and has the same amenities as a Table Reservation. In this workshop, we will explore both the technical aspects of pastel painting and the spirit behind the work we produce. This workshop will encompass study, play, spirit and inspiration. With both beginner and more skilled artists in mind, there is a place here for any artist with a desire to explore. Learn to build a painting with pastel, and how to combine pastel with additional materials, such as watercolor, oil or acrylic. We’ll use photos or personal sketches as inspiration for bringing our expressions to life. $200 Tuition + $75 materials

Focusing on songs collected by folklorist and field recording pioneer   Alan Lomax , this collaboratory brings together some of North America’s most distinctive and creative roots musicians to revive, recycle and re-imagine traditional music. The repertoire includes Bahamian sea chanties, African-American acappella singing from the Georgia Sea Islands, ancient Appalachian ballads, fiddle tunes and work songs collected from both well-known musicians and everyday folk: sea captains, cowhands, fishermen, prisoners and homemakers. Today, the Gala Fashion Show has matured into a full-scale, professional production. Merchandise donations from houses such as Catharine Malandrino, Autumn Teneyl, Elie Tahari, Kenneth Cole, and Dolce & Gabbana have graced the runways in past years.  Since 1994, Telluride AIDS Benefit has donated over $1,800,000 towards HIV/AIDS education, advocacy, clinical care, and NGOs.
