"Days of my Youth"   is a film being played at the Sheridan Operah House on Friday, November 14 at 6:00pm and 8:30pm. The film covers every skiers lifelong affinity for the sport, exploring the joys and struggles that come along with it. Watershed Expeditions

The Sheridan Arts Foundation and Telluride Gravity Works are presenting Teton Gravity Research's latest new ski films called,  Almost Ablaze (5:00pm) and  Higher (7:30pm) at the Sheridan Opera House. Both will be held back-to-back on Sunday, November 9th. Each film is $15 and a combo pack for both is $25. Telluride Gravity Works will generously providing swag to be given away and raffled off at the event. Girls On The Run 5K

The organization Girls On The Run are inspiring girls to be joyful, healthy and confident using a creative and fun excersize curriculum. With passionate and skilled coaches, girls who participate are positively influenced by the expirience. ALL girls are encouraged to join, so sign your child up today! On Saturday, November 8th the organization will hold a 5K race at Telluride Town Park along the scenic footpath through the town.  Registration and packet pick up will be from 9:30-10:30am at the park that Saturday. At 10:00am the girls need to arive to get a shirt and number from their coach. Cashmore Marionettes

In the performance  Life in Motion,  Joseph Cashore presents his collection of marionette masterworks. Characters of depth, integrity, and humanity are portrayed in a full evening unlike anything else in theater today. In 2011, Jennifer became Pharr Davis became the overall record holder on the Appalachian Trail by hiking 2,181 miles in 46 days. Her book  Called Again: A Story of Love and Triumph was writen by her. She will be speaking at the library on November 6th from 6:00pm- 8:00pm about her book and her story.

Watch out or Telluride will cast a spell over you and you'll never want to leave!  This year's bash will be at the Fly Me to the Moon Saloon  and will feature the West Water Outlaws.  The high energy rock 'n' roll band West Water Outlaws from Boulder, Colorado was formed in early 2010 playing parties in the basement of singer Blake "Whiskey" Rooker's house. During the mass explosion of DJ software and macbook pros, not many parties in Boulder featured live rock bands.
