Running time is 3 hours, 40 minutes. Telluride Ski Resort Closing Day

Northface Athlete Hilaree O'Neill Presents on her Everest Climb

Telluride's Hilaree O'Neill will give a presentation on her historic expedition during the 2012 climbing season in Nepal. O'Neill is a Himalayan climber and North Face athlete who is the first and currently only woman to connect two 8000 meter peaks in a day. This event is a fundraiser for the Ridgway-based dZi Foundation, which focuses on community-led devopment work in Nepal.   Monday, March 31. 6:30PM. Sheridan Opera House.

Farm to Table Cooking for Teens & Adults

Wednesday, March 26. 11AM-3PM. $65 + $10 materials. Class for teens and adults. This class teaches students how to cook everything from Swiss chard and other greens to seasonal fruits and vegetables grown on the Western Slope. Students will also learn how to cut up a whole chicken and how to make stock, and learn tips on preparing grass-fed meats.
