Beginning Burlesque with Sasha Sullivan

Women of all ages come together for a fun-filled journey into this incredible art form, ultimately empowering their creative, sensual, feminine beings. Telluride Theatre’s own Sasha Sullivan and seasoned Burlesque veteran Melissa Harris are excited take new students on an eight-week journey into the world of burlesque. Starting with the basics – history, dance moves, striptease, creating a character, and owning your space – students will then develop their very own burlesque character and walk away with a full routine, a set of pasties, and a portrait. At the close of the class, some students will be chosen to perform at BURLESQUE, a live variety show on the Sheridan Opera House...
