The Telluride Elks Lodge is continuing its decades-long tradition of a raucously good time. Attendees play Bingo for a chance to win a turkey for their Thanksgiving feast! Bingo, beer, and turkeys. Turkey Bingo for kids is from 3:30pm-5:30pm. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Doors will open for adult Turkey Bingo at 6:30pm. As an added bonus, for those who prefer to leave Turkey Bingo “unmarked,” a Sunday Morning Edition will take place beginning 11:30am on Sunday, November 23. The Sheridan Arts Foundation and Telluride Gravity Works are presenting Teton Gravity Research's latest new ski films called, Almost Ablaze (5:00pm) and Higher (7:30pm) at the Sheridan Opera House. The organization Girls On The Run are inspiring girls to be joyful, healthy and confident using a creative and fun excersize curriculum. With passionate and skilled coaches, girls who participate are positively influenced by the expirience. ALL girls are encouraged to join, so sign your child up today! On Saturday, November 8th the organization will hold a 5K race at Telluride Town Park along the scenic footpath through the town. Registration and packet pick up will be from 9:30-10:30am at the park that Saturday. At 10:00am the girls need to arive to get a shirt and number from their coach. She will be speaking at the library on November 6th from 6:00pm- 8:00pm about her book and her story.
