The town of Telluride, Colorado evokes many things for different people— world-class skiing, the Bluegrass Festival, the Telluride Film Festival, etc., but most people aren’t aware that a free, short gondola ride away is the town of Mountain Village.

Planet Bluegrass has announced the preliminary lineup for the 37th annual Telluride Bluegrass festival, June 17th-20th, 2010. Many names and faces remain the same, but new acts will be added through the Spring of 2010. This past weekend, my buddies and I went on a fly fishing excursion and checked out some of the premiere fishing spots South Western Colorado has to offer.

Just a couple miles from Telluride sits one of the prettiest and easiest spots to camp in the region. Alta Lakes is the perfect place to set up camp, fish, and take in the views!

My husband and I recently went over Imogene for a weekend adventure. It took us about 5 hours, and we stopped to take photos, let their dogs run around, and hike a little. It was my first time over and I have to say that the views are stunning.
