Local Fly Fishing Excursion

This past weekend, my buddies and I went on a fly fishing excursion and checked out some of the premiere fishing spots South Western Colorado has to offer.

The San Miguel, Dolores, Uncompahgre, and Gunnison are among some of the finest trout streams in the Rocky Mountains - all very accessible from the Telluride region. Sunday, we geared up with perfect conditions and headed to the Lower Dolores River for a full day fishing adventure. Accompanied by three guides from Telluride Outside, I was excited to check out the much talked about Lower "D", for the first time. We fished all day long and pulled out some beautiful Brown and Rainbow trout. Check out the pics!
