Yesterday, March 31, The Melodians played at the Sheridan Opera House. This was one of the last major shows the Opera House had before the off season and boy oh boy it a great way to go out!
The Melodians are a Reggae group out of Jamaica which originally formed back in 1965. One of their most internationally famed songs is “Rivers of Babylon”. The Melodians put on a great show, stopping in the middle of almost every song to joke around with one another and the crowd. You could really tell they cared about their audience, jamming out for two encores until after eleven.I am defiantly glad I went to this show, it was a great way to put an end to a season full of music, culture, friends, and fun!
