My first day on the mountain!

Saturday was my first day riding in Telluride. For the past week I had been walking around town watching skiers and snowboards shred down the mountain, so it was nice to finally be ale to get up there myself and see what it’s all about.

I met one of my co-workers and her boyfriend in Mountain Village to pick up my season pass and hit the slopes. I must say I was quite stoked about it, as you can tell in the picture! Because we had start (a REALLY late start) and it was my first day up there, we came to the conclusion that we were going to take it easy and not go too far out. We took Meadows down to lift 10 and then did the Sundance run a couple of times. I must say, even though many of the locals were saying the snow conditions weren’t so great, it was a heck of a lot better than the mountains back home. Needless to say, I had a great introduction to the mountain…I just can’t wait to do some more exploring!
