Telluride to host the World Cup Snowboardcross December 17th - 20th!

While the Vancouver Winter Olympics lingers in the near future, the U.S Ski/Snowboard Cross Team prepares to come to Telluride, Colorado to prove they are worthy of such a prestigious event.

Telluride is geared up to host the sole U.S. Olympic stop for Ski/Snowboard Cross on December 17th - 20th, before the athletes take the big stage in Vancouver 2010. A weekend full of racing, events, live music, snow, and much more will be a perfect way to segue into the winter ski season here at the Telluride Ski Resort. According to the U.S. Head Coach Tyler Shepherd, nothing is better than training in Telluride.

"Telluride has been gracious enough to host us both last year and this year for our camp," Shepherd said. "The community is very excited about both snowboard-cross and ski cross being there and they've done a phenomenal job at putting us up and showing us the red carpet."
