My wife and I stay in the Norwood area about 4 or 5 times a year and need a handicapped accessible room when doing so. Until the Backcountry Inn opened several years ago, the nearest suitable room was Ridgeway or Gateway, over an hour east or west. Reservations can be made over the phone or on-line and have always been accurate. The young ladies who manage the Inn now know us by name and are always helpful and accomodating. Be aware that options for dining are limited and that breakfast is not always available in Norwood on Sunday.

Thanks Robert for the wonderful review.
I believe that your knowledge of the area will be most helpful for those traveling to Norwood

As far as the coffee pot, I'm not sure..Its on a timer and has been working..Hard to say, just know that if and when you return coffee will be waiting for you!!
Thanks again, Hope you get the chance to come back again soon
This Inn has excellent service. The bed is very soft. The only bad thing is no breakfast in the mornings.
