clean. nice staff. good location. wish they would open the hot tub earlier, and stay open later, at least on the weekends. 10-10 is during the middle of your day~ found it odd that there is only one (1) washing machine and dryer for the entire complex. they were curtious and made it accessible when asked. appreicated that.

Manager Response:

Thank you for your review and we took your suggestion about the hot tub under consideration. During festivals, it makes sense to open it earlier. The truth is that we have very few guests ask for this or express interest to use it sooner. We hope you can come back anytime.
Sincerely,
Heather White

"Kitchen but no table???"

2 of 5

Good location, very comfy room. Unit has a nice kitchen but you have to sit on the sofa and eat off the coffee table. No dining table or chairs. There is a breakfast bar adjacent to the kitchen with two bar stools, but the countertop is so high that it is just slightly below your mouth when you are sitting on a bar stool. And I am 5'9" tall!

Manager Response:

We are pleased to report that a guest brought this to our attention. Voile! Now, along with the breakfast bar we have table with chairs! We like to say that it's the squeaky wheel that gets the grease around here (a Midwestern saying). Thanks for your review.

"2nd year in a row in this unit"

for the price and location, it just cant be beat. They could use a new bed, location currently has two full beds pushed together to make a king size.
-A FlipKey verified reviewer on 01/30/2014

Manager Response:

Thank you for your review. You stayed in a 1 bedroom suite which does have a king that will split to two twins for added versatility for our guests. We will most certainly look into that to make sure these beds are as they should be.

Sincerely,

Heather White

"Very spacious"

4 of 5

This is one of the few units at Mountainside Inn where two rooms have been converted into a single unit. Very comfortable, lots of windows in this corner unit, fully equipped kitchen, updated fixtures, etc.. Would definitely stay in this unit again.

Manager Response:

Thank you for your positive review of Mountainside Inn. We are so glad you enjoyed your stay and your room. We hope you stay at Mountainside Inn in the future.

The pull out bed where my two kids had to sleep was broken. the matress fell right through the frame. Luckly the kids are small and we were able to put the couch cousions under the mattress and make it through the night.
-A FlipKey verified reviewer on 10/07/2011

Manager Response:

Thank you for taking the time to write your review and pointing out the mattress problem in your unit.
Rest assured we have taken care of that situation.
Come back and see us anytime.

"Nice place to stay"

4 of 5

This property was very clean and the decor is updated. Im sure in the winter this room is so amazing and comfortable but my only complaint is that since there is no air conditioner and we stayed in the summer it was very hot in the room. We opened windows and used fans but there was no cool air whatsoever. I would definitly stay in this room again but I would only choose it in the winter.
-A FlipKey verified reviewer on 09/05/2011

Manager Response:

Air conditioning is practally non existant in Telluride. We do have cool nights and supply all our rooms with fans. (2 in the suites). Our front desk staff would have been happy to supply you with extra fans if needed.
Glad you enjoyed your stay otherwise.
We look forward to seeing you in ski season. We have some great packages to offer.

"Fair Value"

3 of 5

Room and living area nice. Hallways and entrance filthy. More of a ski facility than summer room. Also, construtcion next door and facility hard to find in town.

Manager Response:

Thanks for giving us your feedback. We are glad to hear you found your room to be a pleasant place to stay. Fortunately the construction is over in October so hopefully it won't be too confusing to find! Thanks again for the review and please come visit us this winter!

"Pleasant and relaxing accomodations."

The only thing missing in the kitchen was salt and pepper. Not a big deal. It was a very nice. Lots of construction going on, but did not bother our stay.
-David on 08/12/2010

Manager Response:

Thanks for the review. Fortunately the construction is over in October! It's good to hear it didn't take away from your stay though. Thanks again for the feedback and come back again soon.

"Convienence & comfort"

super convenient to slopes and surprisingly quiet since it is a first floor unit with foot traffic right outside window.Too bad we had to keep the shades lowered for privacy.

Manager Response:

We are pleased that you found the good in our "Little Jewel" of Telluride. Thanks for taking the time to share and please come back this summer.
