This year we will present Michael Jackson’s THRILLER album in its entirety, which we will theatricalize and stage for an great night of fun. Two nights only and not to be missed!

Friday, August 28- Saturday, August 29, 2015.  Telluride Town Park Pretty Lights   with a trademark combo of gritty, crate-digging hip-hop, speaker shredding digital thump, and instrumentally-based psychedelia,  will head to Colorado for a two-night run at picturesque Telluride Town Park. The famed producer chose the location because of its natural beauty with the statement, " I’ve thought a lot about what a perfect place to throw a Pretty Lights concert might be, and what that actually means. I think that Telluride Town Park might be a place like that. The energy that resonates there is beyond the cusp of my own understanding but it is powerful and undeniable. What began as a way to train for the Pike's Peak marathon in 1974 is now a full-fledged race. The race from Ouray to Telluride over the 13,114 foot  Imogene Pass . This is a 17.1 mile point to point mountain race. The pass is a 4x4 dirt road that passes through mining ruins, up jagged peaks, and above treeline. The runners finish at the  Sheridan Opera House on Oak Street in Telluride.  Remember to dress appropriately for the weather and be prepared for any and all conditions. 2015 Details will be posted as soon as they are available. 2014 Preview event The last weekend in September 2014 will give Telluride the opportunity to preview the Telluride Festival Cars and Colors.  This festival's first official dates are in September 2015, but some people just couldn't wait. We hear that anywhere from 20 to 100 cars will be on display in Telluride for the 2014 kickoff weekend.  Bring your classic if you have one! The Mountains to Desert Ride is a grueling bicycle race from Telluride to Gateway Canyons, Colorado. The goal is to raise $90,000 for the benefit of the Just for Kids Foundation.  Participants can choose between four routes: Telluride to Gateway Summit Loop, 133 miles Telluride to Gateway Canyons Resort, 103 miles Norwood to Gateway Summit Loop, 100 miles Norwood to Gateway Canyons Resort, 70 miles

October 16, 17 & 18, 2015 marks the 6th annual Telluride Horror Show, which makes it Colorado's first and longes-running horror film festival.  This 3-day genre film festival is located here in Telluride, Colorado. Screenings of the latest horror, fantasy, and sci-fi films will take place throughout the weekend at the Sheridan Opera House and the Nugget Theatre. The festival screens an average of 20 feature films and more than 30+ short films. Telluride's annual Christmas Eve Torchlight Parade at 6:30pm starts at the top of Coonskin run, and finishes in the Town of Telluride. Instructors from the Telluride Ski and Snowboard School carry lit torches as they descend down the dark mountain. Try viewing the event from the Gondola, or Elks Park.
