Fun for all!   Kids under 12 can engage in history's first extreme sport, JOUSTING in the pit and then send it down a 20 foot dual lane slide.  Kiddos under 5 can bounce in a play area amongst inflatable animals.  Big kids otherwise known as "Adults" can watch the action while enjoying the  cash bar  or test their skills on the mechanical bull!   Free admission!   For Kids age 12 and under accompanied by an Adult.

It’s a bit early to have information about the 2016 Telluride Playwright’s Festival, but it’s not too early to book lodging. Many veteran festivarians book their condos and hotel rooms a year in advance and the town of Telluride is mostly sold out six months before the festival! Come back later for more information on this festival.   The Telluride Playwright's Festival is a six day intensive workshop for playwrights, actors, and directors to refine their craft and written work. The festival is put on by Sparky Productions, a non-profit that offers playwrights the unique experience of working in a Rocky Mountain setting. The Town of Mountain Village Owners Association presents this nine series event which is in its 17th year of entertaining visitors and locals on Wednesday summer mountain evenings.  This week's performance features Split Lip Rayfield, a unique instrumental group who meanders amongst various musical genres including bluegrass, alternative country and cowpunk.

Summertime Fridays in Telluride means it's prime time for a trip to the Farmers Market. This is a place for people and dogs to mingle, to stock up on on fresh local produce and flowers, and to get inspired by the creative output of artists. V endors from within 100 miles of Telluride gather to sell organic fruits, vegetables, pasture raised meats, eggs, cheese, artisan bread, baked goods.   You can also grab lunch at one of the mouthwatering food kiosks and shop for handmade crafts.   Come support your local vendors!
