Enter the condo from the courtyard of the Mountainside Inn. The open living room, with gas fireplace and queen sofa-sleeper, and kitchen, enjoy a large deck that reaches to the banks of the San Miguel River. To the right of the entry is the first bedroom with a queen bed w/small riverside deck and full bathroom attached. Second bedroom has two twin beds with bathroom w/shower only attached.

Spiral stairs lead up to the third bedroom with a queen bed, full bathroom and a jetted tub. This bedroom shares the living room's skylights, has a small deck overlooking river and has TV w/VCR and DVD. The condo has free wireless internet access and a private washer/dryer.

"Great condo for 6 adults."

We have stayed here many times in the past and we keep coming back. It is a bit dated, but very clean. It has a fully equipped kitchen, and the deck overlooking the river is the best. Just a few steps from the hot tub too. It's on the west end of main street, so it's a bit of a walk to get to where most of the restaurants and shopping is; however, it is quiet and the walk along the river is really nice. Only a couple of minutes from the Gondola to Mountain Village.

Room was great. Booking it was difficult and wrong information was given. Room ended up costing 180 more than it was supposed to due to their error.

We appreciate your review. The fact is that you originally booked a unit for one night with a king bed and upon arrival wanted to move to the condominium that sleeps eight. Because this is a large unit with a 2 night minimum that takes several hours to clean properly and you wanted to stay only one night, we clearly explained to you the regular housekeeping cost. In reality, our Sales representative explained all this to you and you and your friends agreed to it. She even waived $60 of that fee, so you paid $120.00. You paid less than anyone who would have booked this unit for one night."

We enjoyed our stay and since there were 7 of us it felt roomy enough. The Condo is in a great location, walk to the lifts and to town. We enjoyed being so close to the river, its peaceful and quite.

"Nice condo. Worth the price."

This is a very nice, spacious, condo that easily fits 8 people. It has a fully equipped kitchen which makes it convenient if you buy food and make a few meals there. The rooms are spacious and well equipped. The very large hot tub is just a few steps outside of the condo. We've been staying here for 6 or 7 years now. The only thing that I'd suggest to the owner is to do a little improvement - the condo needs a little freshening up. The paint needs some touch ups, the cabinet doors in the bathrooms could use new hardware and a little paint. Other than that, we will definitely come back next year!

"Comfortable, spacious, and a superb view!"

The condo was beautiful, well kept-up, clean and comfortable. We all had balconies accessible from our bedrooms. The upper bedroom has a huge bathroom with a large tub. Lots of light. The brook passes right by the condo and the view is amazing. My only crib was the wireless was very flaky and almost unusable at times. I hope they fix this.

This is a great 3 bdr/3 bath condo. The river-side deck is awesome. It could use a little TLC. You can tell it's used quite a bit. It's clean and comfortable, but nothing luxurious. It has all the amenities you need for a fun weekend. For some, it could be a little out of the way, since it is a 5-10 minute walk to "downtown" and the festival grounds on the other side of town. We've stayed here many times in the past and intend on staying here again. The 20-person hot tub just steps from the front door is great too.

Unit 101 provided just the right gathering space for all of our wedding guests staying at the Inn--kitchen, room to visit, deck, river, etc. The location in town was great for walking, gondola, etc. It would be good if the office could be open all day for people arriving. 10am checkout was pushing it but we managed. It was definitely the perfect place for us!

A great location on the stream. Nice hot tub. Would have liked a grill on the deck (there was one by the picnic tables).Unit was not fancy but quite comfortable.Washer/dryer in unit was a big plus.Would stay here again.

Unit 101 is a really nice condo with all the amenities you would expect. It is very convenient and within walking distance to everything. There is a liquor store within 2 blocks, and a grocery store within 4 blocks. Highly recommend it.

"Great location and price point."

I have rented M101 at least 10 times the past 10 years. The reason I continue to rent it is because of the location and the price point. The negative to the place is the kitchen is really understocked. It needs a lot more cookware, pans, and better cutting knives. We bring a lot of kitchen items with us because we know how understocked the kitchen is. The beds and the bedding are also at the end of their lives and need to be replace. "getting run down"

First, I would like to thank Telluride Alpine Lodging for being so understanding. My father's health was deteriorating the week prior to our reservation and Telluride Alpine Lodging was very understanding of our need to cancel our reservation. They just charged us for one night's stay which we thought was more than fair given the no refund policy. My father did pass away a few days later and we decided last minute to try to go on with our original plans to spend a week in Telluride. Luckily, our favorite unit at Telluride Mountainside Inn, #101, was still available. Our family has rented this unit for a number of years now and have enjoyed it so much we once inquired to see if it was available to purchase. However, we have noticed that the property has become more and more run down looking over the past several years. It is obvious that the owners are reluctant to put any money into the upkeep of the building. However, you can not call this unit a luxury unit when you go out on the deck and you feel like you are living in a slum....a slum on the river, but no less a slum. The wood on the outside seems to be deteriorating and the paint on the pipe rails and on the table and chairs is peeling off. When we arrived, the cigarette butts were overflowing in the can on the steps just outside our unit. The mattress in the master BR on the first floor is a awful, much different than those one finds in other "luxury" hotels such as Franz Klammer or the Aspen Street Inn. When I complained about the poor quality of the mattress, the person behind the counter offered to replace it with a mattress in storage....a mattress that was previously used in another unit and replaced for some reason. If you advertize this unit as a "luxury" unit you should supply them with a comfortable mattress..particularly in the master bedroom. Also, for almost 5 days while we were there we had no internet access. A luxury unit should insure that this is available. More thoughts but no space.
