The Ah Haa's annual fundraiser has been a must-attend summer event. Both art lovers and community members support the Ah Haa School by bidding on a wide range of work created by artists in and out of Telluride. Typically, more than 100 artworks and myriad services and excursions donated by the region's artists, businesses and supporters of the school are auctioned in live and silent auctions. The Telluride Yoga Festival began in 2007 with Jivamukti instructor Aubrey Hackman's vision for a yoga event that went beyond physical exercise. The festival not only provides yogis of all experience levels with an enriching practice experience and allows the opportunity to have a positive impact on the world.  Hackman, a passionate environmentalist and animal rights activist, structured the festival around the teachings of karma yoga. Each year, 25% of the net proceeds are donated to a local non-profit whose mission is to help protect and preserve the earth.  The festival includes presentations, guided meditations, community yoga classes, special events, and evening classes. A 100 mile mountain bike race commencing and culminating in the Town of Telluride. The first expected riders crossing the finish line between 1:30-2PM. Final finishers betweem 6-7PM.   The celebratory awards ceremony will be at 7PM at the Gondola Plaza in the Town of Telluride. For information on the course, click HERE . 2017 Telluride Jazz Festival Information It’s a bit early to have information about the 2017 Telluride Plein Air Festival, but it’s not too early to book lodging. Many veteran festivarians book their condos and hotel rooms a year in advance and the town of Telluride is mostly sold out six months before the festival! Telluride Academy presents its 31st annual youth Mudd Butts Mystery Theater Troupe.  Come watch these talented kids portray a creative interpretion of a play, to be determined.  There will be singing, dancing, and creative stage props, which will be auctioned off after the show.  Tickets at the door, $12 adults, $5 for kids ages 12 and under.
